Texas Sun Tea

Ingredients
  

  • 6 bags Black Tea

Equipment

  • 1 Gallon Water Carton If you use a milk carton, make sure it is rinsed out thoroughly.
  • 1 Large stirring spoon

Method
 

  1. Fill a one gallon water carton or glass pitcher with cold water.
  2. Place tea bags into carton or pitcher.
  3. Cap carton or cover pitcher.
  4. Place in direct sunlight for at least the recommended time.
  5. After several hours in direct sunlight, shake or stir tea and serve on ice!

Notes

The time to leave the tea in the sun can be much longer than 4 hours. Put the left-over tea in the fridge to keep it fresh.
